If Katie Couric new show will be a syndicated show, how come it will replace General Hospital?

I thought a syndicated show was a show that didn't air on any specific network (CBS, NBC or ABC).

It is not a syndicated show, it will be on ABC only and General Hospital is moving to another time slot and then her show will be on..so don't worry GH is still going to be on..=)
They may move GH to another time or something. And while they have no announced it yet, there may be hope for GH to keep going, but i have heard that GH was already included in the sale to prospect part (who bought AMC and OLTL), but that's just a rumor as far as I know - nothing's been confirmed. It will air at the same time as GH. You can't have two shows on at the same time.

god I hope gh doesn't go online. I don't know how watching tv on your computer is comfortable I think its okay for now
