Do crime syndicates work together?

Do some Organized Crime groups like the Red Mafia, Yakuza, and the Italian Mafia, work together? Could you imagine how much more of a threat they would be if they did?Do crime syndicates work together?
There ave been reports of cooperation between organized crime groups.



As they are not much of a threat now, and in light of the fact that these groups prefer property crimes and vice to violent attacks, I would not expect increased risk for the average citizen.Do crime syndicates work together?
They aren't a threat now. Typically they just kill each other.
